We are situated in the heart of the Dartmoor national park, in a beautiful country valley on the edge of the village of Moretonhampstead. We have a state of the art building with all the facilities necessary to make your stay with us both comfortable and enjoyable.

Only a short walk from an outdoor swimming pool, a range of restaurants, tea-rooms and pubs, Co-op, unique shops and award winning butcher/deli. Miles of beautiful moorland to explore on foot, bike, car or horseback!

Just a short drive away from the luxury hotel spa and golf course: Bovey Castle. Nearby adventure parks include; Miniature Pony Centre, Pennywell Farm, Crealy, Woodlands and River Dart Country Park. Nearby places of natural beauty include; Becky Falls, with stunning woodland and waterfall walks; Kent�s Cavern, one of Europe�s top Neanderthal Ice Age caves and award winning family beach Blackpool sands.

For the more adventurous camper there is a wide variety of activities available, including rock climbing, abseiling, fishing, horse-riding, paintballing and sailing, all within driving distance.

Situated only half an hour from Exeter, a city brimming with history and heritage, with many visitor attractions to keep you entertained for hours on end. From the magnificent Cathedral to the Historic Quayside, there's so much to see and do in this fascinating city.

The facilities include spotless toilets and showers with free hot water, tuck shop, bar, kitchen, function rooms and sports hall with badminton nets and goalposts. One large sports field with football, rugby and cricket pitches, picnic area and stream. We also have 3 tennis courts and children�s play area, and a timetable of fitness classes including Pilates and Kettlercise. (All facilities are available within standard opening times and at published costs, and according to the rules of the centre.)
